Climb the walls. You’re allowed.

Auto-belay climbing for adults and children aged 5 and up. First a briefing, then the walls are yours. A harness is included.

Climb up, let go

The auto-belay device takes care of your safety, so you need no belay partner and no climbing experience. When you let go, the device lowers you gently to the floor.

  1. Children putting on climbing harnesses together before climbing

    Harness on

We lend you the harness, included in the ticket. No climbing shoes needed, indoor shoes or socks are fine.

  2. A staff member briefs a group of children before they climb

    The briefing

In a 15-minute briefing we check your harness and equipment and show you how the auto-belay and the walls work.

  3. A climber leans back high on the wall, arms wide, held by the auto-belay

    Clip in, climb, let go

Then you have 60 minutes of climbing. Climb as high as you dare; at the top, just let go and the auto-belay lowers you down.

    Dare to let go!

An indoor climbing park for the whole family

Irti Maasta has four climbing centres: REDI in Helsinki (24 walls), Tullintori in Tampere (18), Mylly in Raisio (25) and IsoKarhu in Pori (20). Every wall is auto-belay, so you can come climbing with no experience, no gear of your own and no belay partner. There’s plenty of challenge: Stairway to Heaven in Helsinki, Tampere and Raisio, and Raisio’s speciality is Leap of Faith (“Urhon hyppy”).

Children climb from age 5, and once a month there’s an adults’ night. Questions? See the FAQ.
